As most of you have already heard, the group we sent, didn’t get in. (if u want details about selection process and everything, maybe Lawsonn will post).
What I want to say is that. Although we are sad and a little disappointed, we shouldn’t let this get to us cause, firstly, who knew the selection process would change? Instead, let us reflect on our experiences during baoc and the friendships we’ve made. Having another shot at that experience next year is simply icing on our beautiful cake.
Secondly, just like the theme of BAOC, ‘chronicles of lost civilizations’, I see us as a great civilization now lost because of industrialization (changing of selection rules) in the World (ba society). But don’t fret! Just like Yamataikoku, the Japanese people live on to this day. Likewise, us as GY-ians, will always remember the smashing good times we’ve had. And maybe we can hope our fresshies will run next year for SCOs or something. That way, our legacy aint totally gone right?!
Maybe we haven’t made it clear, so once again, I thank every single one of you asswipes (no offence intended. I love u guys too much) for just being part of our journey that has somewhat come to an abrupt end. Haha. but our friendships made will last forever right?! Duh. so yupp! Thanx for making things happen.
Ooh. And lastly, to feli, clem, Gifford. Dudes (and dudettes), u guys still rock! Don’t b sad or discouraged. It don’t matter no more, cause, WE ARE PROUD OF YOU (say we are proud of you!).
Oh ya! Our dear babies in MC, continue to do us proud ok?! u’re all that’s really left of us. The last ‘alive people’. Haha. please make babies and build a new civilization. (just kidding. Don’t take me literally. I’m against premarital sex anyway).
